A few years ago when I started my company, I reached out to the Small Business Development Center in Georgia for assistance.
Most people don’t know that they provide free resources including marketing, research and professional development.
They sponsored my first live event that over 100 attorneys attended at The Commerce Club in Georgia. They have a lot of resources available and they also have a lot of events small business owners attend.
This is great for attorneys because unfortunately, small business owners often have more than just business issues. At some point in their business they may need a family law, criminal, employment or estate planning attorney.
Consider reaching out to the SBDC for help with your law firm. They may not know all of your Bar rules(that’s your job), but it’s a good place to start to build and scale your law firm business.
Plus, they’re big on promoting their success stories! Recently there was an article featured in the Georgia Trend about my company.
I did not pay for this article. Each story was hand-picked and this could be a great way to get free press for your law firm.
