The Advocacy for Action Empowerment Summit was phenomenal! Even though I had an early flight to catch the following day, I stayed for all of the sessions and learned so much about the clients I service and how tough their profession really is.
I made new friends and talked with old ones including a judge I met four years ago. When she asked what I was up to I said, “The same thing I was doing four years ago.” She said,”You get it and I’m so proud of you.” Most people just don’t stay focused long enough to see or reap the results from all of the seeds they plant!
This event was the largest gathering of Minority Bar Associations and its members in the State of Georgia and I’m honored to have been a panelist both days and to also have been a participant. There were so many trailblazers in the room!
